These pots are made by craftsmen who have had this art form passed down to them. Purposefully designed with an airtight water-sealable cover so that you do not have to repeatedly open them to scrape off surface mold; simply pour a small amount of water into the channel on top and the cover’s design will allow gases to escape without letting oxygen in.
Though Weighting Stones are not required due to the design of these crock pots, many people do like to use them and are sold seperately. Please note that these can only be purchased from us at the same time you purchase a Polish Fermentation Pot.
