After Rachael Ray fell in love with the original Füri Pro East/West knife and Diamond Fingers sharpener back in 2004, she worked with us to develop ‘super duper grippy’ Gusto-Grip knives for maximum comfort and grip, and a range of innovative professional-grade accessories for home cooks.

‘Because Furitechnics are primarily an engineering development company for chefs, I ensured that the end result had the qualities that would also make it a great knife for professionals. The blade, solid forged bolster and tang are all one piece of the finest German CrMoV stainless steel alloy. We don’t weld a blade to a die-cast bolster and tang, like most of the cheaper home-oriented brands. The handle itself is a molding of super-tough orange Polypropylene with clear synthetic rubber permanently molded around. This is pressed onto the thick tang, and a stainless steel counterweight is pressed into the tail for perfect balance. Our lifetime warranty speaks for itself – this is a serious piece of engineering!’
