Silit is unique in offering a hermetically sealed cooking system, consisting of a main valve and completely sealed pressure indication system, which prevents unnecessary steam escape. Thus you need less cooking water and the sealed cooking system also reduces both cooking time and energy compared to other pressure cookers. The hermetically locked Sicomatic® also protects your meals against flavor loss and preserves important nutrients.
Lastly cleanup is never a chore as the valve system is maintenance free: You will never need to remove the value for cleaning, simply rinse the lid under running water for cleaning.
