We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to offer to you a rare and exceptionally medicinal mushroom known as Maitake. For thousands of years, Japanese Herbal Medicine (JHM) practitioners have been recommending Maitake as a tonic to strengthen the body, improve overall health and lengthen the human life span. For the past twenty years Maitake has been under intense scientific research in Japan and Europe and this research has validated extraordinary healing properties. To put it simply, Maitake mushrooms "turn on" the cells of our immune system known as T-cells which are known to have significant cancer-fighting properties.
