Our chestnuts are grown in a small chestnut grove is in the heart of the Great Columbia River Basin where almost anything grows with our fresh and abundant water supply. They are in the desert area of central Washington, which was reclaimed for agriculture by the construction of the Grand Coulee Dam and establishment of a massive irrigation network in the 1950's to irrigate nearly 500,000 acres.
The remote location and isolation from any other nut production allows us to produce our chestnuts with minimal spraying of herbicides, no insecticides are used.
Chestnuts are called the "UnNut" because nutritionally,
they hardly resemble their tree-nut cousins. Unlike pecans and walnuts, chestnuts

watchers, chestnuts are a low-calorie feast. Not only are chestnuts delicious
with a sweet, mild flavor, they are rich in nutritional benefits. Just a handful
ofother foods can match the nutritional value of a chestnut! Chestnuts Add the
