Carl's book is an interesting and "quick read" that easily and thoroughly explains a super complicated subject. I attended the Kushi Institute on April 2 - 8, 2000 and I have been leading a modified macrobiotic lifestyle ever since. Buying this book will be the best $10 you will ever spend in the pursuit of your health, well being and overall peace of mind. Buy it and read it on your next flight to wherever.
