DESCRIPTION Soladey Ionic Toothbrush |
| |
 |
Soladey Ionic Toothbrushes are so effective that they are not just recommended...they are now prescribed by dental practitioners because they are more effective in reducing the risk of periodontal disease and gingivitis.
Ionic action breaks down plaque on a molecular level, reduces bacteria and biofilm levels in the mouth, can remove stains such as coffee and tobacco, rejuvinates and stimulates the gingival tissues, and reduces bad breath and morning breath.
When exposed to any good light source the photo-sensitive titanium rod (TI02), located in Soladey's handle, releases ions which permeate the saliva to effectively break down plaque on a molecular level. The polarity of the tooth surface is temporarily reversed preventing plaque from sticking to the surface of teeth. This Ionic action disintegrates plaque in places one cannot reach with bristles, rinse, toothpaste or interproximal devices.

"As dental professionals, our goal is to provide the highest quality of care for our patients.
As president of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine and co-founder of the Institute for Nutritional and Systemic Dentistry, and as a Doctor of Integrative Medicine, I have searched for technology that would increase a patient’s oral health and would fit the busy life styles of my patients, friends and family.
As a private dental practitioner in Mesa, Arizona for over 23 years, I have discovered that the best treatment for my patients lies in biological dentistry which treats the root of the patient’s health problems instead of just treating the symptoms. I examine the treatment and materials I place in patient’s mouths and then evaluate what is best for that individual patient.
Unless the patient has an emergency, I always address their periodontal (gum tissues) needs first. Recent publications from the News England Journal of Medicine to the Journal of The American Dental Association have finally published articles relating patients overall health to the oral health of our patients! This has been the corner stone of biological dentistry teachings for over 50 years. Make sure the patient’s periodontal health is good before doing a lot of expensive dental care that may fail.
The missing link in the care of patients ‘gum health’ was a toothbrush that actually cleans the patient’s mouth from germ causing disease! All toothbrushes have done, until the new Ionic Soladey came along, is move around the toothpaste. The toothbrush never cleaned anything! Until now….
Soladey is the most effective and healthy way for everyone to improve their daily oral care while reducing their costs.
It is clinically proven to remove more plaque, while reducing bacteria and biofilm levels in the mouth, and can even remove tough stains. The Titanium Dioxide rod within the handle of the toothbrush, reacts with a special metal that holds the fiber-optic bristles in the head of the brush to create an ionic field that strips away the ‘Bio-film’ that collects from normal daily events.
It is healthier by far because you do not need abrasive toothpastes, or to introduce chemicals into your body to achieve more effective results.
My patients achieve amazing results with this new IONIC technology, and the results are reduced plaque, whiter teeth, reduction in gingivitis and periodontal disease, and healthier gums and gingival tissue."

We are excited that you have chosen Soladey as a healthier and more environmentally friendly approach to your oral hygiene.
The Key Technique for Best Results
For best results, brush all the surfaces of your teeth thoroughly to remove any surface plaque
Keep as much light in your mouth as possible while brushing (60 watts or greater – 1 meter or closer to source)
Then concentrate on the inside bottom row of teeth, brushing lightly with a good light source, until the Ionic process begins to work
This Ionic process can be identified as a natural white paste that foams & builds up in your mouth
Your teeth will feel super polished when done…like you stepped out of the chair from a cleaning with your hygienist
Soak your Soladey daily in Hydrogen Peroxide or Grape Seed Oil for 2 – 5 minutes, in order to keep it free of harmful microbes or bacteria.
Replacing the Brush Head of Your Soladey Ionic Toothbrush
Keep your Soladey toothbrush operating at maximum efficiency
Replace the brush portion regularly, as often as you would replace a standard toothbrush.
Dentists recommend every 2 - 3 months, depending on your brushing habits
If the bristles become frayed, or soft and mashed, replace immediately
The stiffer the bristles, the better the Ionic reaction created
Keep in mind that you do not have to brush hard…it is the gentle flicking action which creates the Ions
The figure below illustrates the proper method of replacing the brush:

Detachment: Pull the head and handle straight off, do not twist Insertion: Insert the head into the handle firmly, do not twist
CAUTION:
After use, if toothpaste was used, completely rinse Soladey to remove toothpaste
Toothpaste may cover the semiconductor, which blocks light from the metal rod
If this happens, you will not get the best possible results from Soladey
Do not separate the brush from the handle except for the purpose of replacement
Do not insert the semiconductor into your mouth without the brush head firmly attached
DO NOT SWALLOW YOUR SALIVA
DO NOT BRUSH FORCEFULLY: the gentle brushing action, combined with a good light source and your own saliva is all that is required for best results. It is important to understand that it is the light brushing action that creates the Ionization process in your mouth and not forceful brushing of your dental enamel. This is much easier on your dental enamel than using an abrasive such as toothpaste.
Detailed Directions on How to Use Your Soladey Ionic Toothbrush
If you prefer to have that “minty fresh” feeling while you are brushing:
Rinse before and/or after brushing, with a natural mouthwash
Use essential oil peppermint drops or your preferred flavor…a little dab on the bristles is all you need
There are several mouthwash and toothpaste products on the market today that do not contain harmful chemicals
We do not recommend toothpaste, as it is an abrasive and can coat the rod which makes this toothbrush work
After rinsing with mouthwash:
Wet the bristles and semiconductor with cold water
Brush your teeth LIGHTLY and thoroughly
The only difference is that you should try to keep the head of the toothbrush and rod in the light as much as possible
Allow as much light into your mouth as possible while brushing
The better the light source, the more effective Soladey is
The saliva in your mouth will turn to a white paste color, your own natural toothpaste
Swish this charged saliva through the spaces in your teeth to help wash away any loose plaque particles the Ionization process loosened
Your saliva should stay in your mouth until you feel you should spit, in order to continue brushing effectively
This natural toothpaste will form again quickly after rinsing your mouth
Repeat 2 - 5 times every time you brush
Soak toothbrush in Hydrogen Peroxide or Grape Seed Oil Extract when done to kill any bacteria or microbes on your toothbrush
